The Financial Services Authority is an agency that regulates companies operating in the financial market in Saint Vincent and The Grenadines. The FSA was founded on 12 November 2012 under an Act of Parliament. The job of the FSA is to manage, direct and supervise the international financial services industry such as forex brokers and domestic non-bank institutions in the country of St Vincent & The Grenadines.
The FSA is accountable to the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines for law enforcement and administration of financial entities. Therefore, as part of the purpose of establishing the FSA, it is the responsibility of the FSA to ensure compliance with the FSA Act and certain other laws, regulations or guidelines. In addition, the FSA also aims to be proactive in providing reliable and timely information on matters affecting the financial services sector.
